Understand your budget
Expected funding is a plan, not money already received. Category targets say what you plan to spend or save. Recorded spending includes only the transactions you have entered or approved. A positive amount left in a category is not a bank balance.
A shared budget lets people with access see its shared information. Income source names and private notes stay private; you choose whether to share your income total or only your contribution. Check the sharing settings before inviting someone.
Your information
Statement PDFs are processed temporarily. Extracted budgeting data is retained for review. Linking a financial account to a budget does not share its transaction history; its balance remains private unless its owner chooses to share it.
These notes explain current product behaviour. For privacy questions or a request concerning your personal information, contact support above.
Download your budgets
When signed in, you can download the budget information available to your account as a JSON file. This includes shared information you can see, but not another person’s private income sources. It is a budget export, not a complete copy of every account record.

Contact support to request closure; it is not yet a self-service action. The agreed closure rules preserve history: existing members keep their previous visibility and a closed budget becomes read-only for everyone. When an owner closes their account, an existing editor may accept ownership first; viewers are not promoted. If no editor accepts, the shared budget closes. Do not delete historical entries to close your account.
