New accounts begin with a short onboarding flow that creates the first real budget workspace safely on the server before you enter the app.

New accounts are created in Supabase Auth, then sent to onboarding to create a starter budget before entering the main app.
If email confirmation is enabled, we send the confirmation link through Supabase and route confirmed users into onboarding instead of dropping them into an empty workspace.
Returning users
Use the email and password already stored in Supabase Auth.
Returning users land in Overview. Protected-route redirects still send sign-in users back to the page they originally asked for.
